Barker

Barker, Edmund Henry, philologist, born in 1788, at Hollym, in Yorkshire. He published editions of several classical works and edited a new issue of Stephen's Thesaurus Linguae Graecae. Other works of his were Classical Recreations, Reminiscences of Professor Porson, and Parriana. He died in 1839.
